La segunda plaza fue para Dani Sordo. En el tercer d\u00eda de competici\u00f3n, y con las diferencias tan a su favor, el galo s\u00f3lo tuvo que mantenerse sobre la pista sin cometer errores, pero el franc\u00e9s no sabe ir a asegurar y volvi\u00f3 a estar entre los mejores tiempos en los tramos. Quien s\u00ed que busc\u00f3 recortar las distancias con Sordo fue el finland\u00e9s Mikko Hirvonen, que tras los problemas mec\u00e1nicos de ayer quer\u00eda subir a la segunda plaza y sumar unos puntos en la general del mundial que mucho pueden importar al final de la temporada. Pero el espa\u00f1ol ten\u00eda mucha renta por delante y arriesg\u00f3 lo justo para mantener las distancias.<\/p>\n<p> <font style=\"font-size: 9pt;\" size=\"2\">Loeb s\u00f3lo tuvo problemas el primer tramo del primer d\u00eda. Era el primero en salir y en encontrarse las condiciones en las que estaba la pista. Pero pronto comenz\u00f3 a demostrar su dominio en la especialidad. El \u00fanico que fue capaz de aguantarle fue el c\u00e1ntabro, que a base de ceder s\u00f3lo unos segundos por tramo termin\u00f3 perdiendo un minuto para quedar en segunda posici\u00f3n. Desde la direcci\u00f3n de su equipo le dijeron que se resguardara y que se centrara en mantener a l\u00ednea Hirvonen para que sumara los menos puntos posibles.<\/p>\n<p> <font style=\"font-size: 9pt;\" size=\"2\">Este es el mundial de la transici\u00f3n, a la espera de los cambios para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, y en el que s\u00f3lo Citroen y Ford parten con formaciones oficiales, y eso se ha notado desde la primera prueba. Con Latvala, el segundo piloto oficial de Ford, fuera de carrera, la diferencia entre los tres del podio y el resto ha sido de todo un mundo.<\/p>\n<p> <font style=\"font-size: 9pt;\" size=\"2\">El franc\u00e9s, pentacampe\u00f3n del mundo de rallys, hombre r\u00e9cord de la especialidad, suma con \u00e9sa su cuadrag\u00e9simo octava victoria en el mundial.
