Este fin de semana se ha celebrado el Enduropale de Le Touquet<\/A>, como desde hace m\u00e1s de treinta a\u00f1os -con alg\u00fan par\u00e9ntesis- desde que Thierry Sabine<\/A>, en 1975, entonces agregado de prensa del ayuntamiento de Touquet, intent\u00f3 adaptar a Europa las carreras masivas que se celebraban en EEUU. (Os recuerdo para quien sea muy joven que fue este caballero el que invent\u00f3 el Par\u00eds-Dakar, seg\u00fan la leyenda en 1976, cuando estuvo perdido en las arenas del desierto de T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 durante un par de d\u00edas. El 14 de enero de 1986 morir\u00eda durante el rally en un accidente de helic\u00f3ptero. Prometo dedicarle un post como motero ilustre, la informaci\u00f3n que se ve en internet es indigna del personaje, en fin, estamos hablando de la prehistoria)<\/p>\n

En 2005 estuvo a punto de no celebrarse ya (recordemos el caso del Dakar de este a\u00f1o), pero reapareci\u00f3 como Enduropale y vuelve a juntar 1000 pilotos de moto y 800 de quad que salen con arena hasta el \u00faltimo recoveco de s\u00ed mismos y de sus monturas.<\/p>\n

Casi 16 Km y un poco menos para los quads por la playa de Le Touquet Paris Plage <\/A>hasta las playas de Stella y Marlimont, con obst\u00e1culos montados para a\u00f1adir espectacularidad y sin tocar las dunas, para mantener el equilibrio ecol\u00f3gico de la zona.<\/p>\n

Aparte de alg\u00fan dakarero ilustre -por ah\u00ed andaba Cyril Despr\u00e8s (21\u00ba), entre otros- parece que el triunfo est\u00e1 reservado a un par de especialistas que han copado el podio desde hace unos cuantos a\u00f1os, el \u00faltimo, Timotei Potisek<\/A>; en torno a \u00e9l Arnaud Demeester y Pierrick Paget, abonado al tercer puesto.<\/p>\n
